Originally, the idea was for my home clan FBI Gaming to start up its own pro team and join an existing league.  Unfortunately all the existing leagues seemed to focus on mutli-environments using Trackmania United.  So we decided to do the next best thing and host our own league and open it up to all our friends.  We have put together a ruleset which we feel will offer the most fun, whilst remaining simple to understand and easy to follow.  The inspriration for this was drawn from the F1 Grand Prix Scoring System and amended for our needs.

Finally, a point that whilst may not be important to many, is important to myself and I feel is worth noting down here.  Although this league is being hosted and sponsored by FBI-Gaming and Gaming Solutions (our Dedi-box provider), I personally feel its important to maintain a certain level of independence between the clan team and the league.  Thus on here, I am just using my name and not my clan tags.  Also Colt who is running FBI's pro team and myself have agreed some basic rules between ourselves.  With that in mind, he will have no more say in either the match server, the tracks we use to race on or access to this forum than any other team captain.  By the same token, I will have no participation with the Pro-Team and with my complete lack of driving skills, have absolutely no chance of ever actually taking part in a race.

At the moment, we are aiming for on or around the 14th January 2010 for the inaugarul race.
